You Don’t Need A Gym Membership To Workout

Most people are under some notion that the only way to get into to shape is to spend countless hours in the gym. and this is just not the case. If you get caught up in the media, the newspapers, research etc… You are in for a long hard road of disappointment.

No need to go to the gym, you can become physically fit in a matter of weeks if you just know the little secrets that the gym owners and equipment manufactures don’t want you to know.

Do what people did many years ago- train using bodyweight only exercises. Don’t think that bodyweight only exercises are a waste of time, because they can be are very, very demanding if done the right way.

Take 2 very simple exercises like pushups and situps and try to do these exercises for 5 minutes alternating back and forth ( do as many pushups then do as many situps as possible with no rest in between exercises) unless you are fit you probably won’t be able to finish this workout, and actually the so called fit person probably could not finish a simple workout like this.

After a 5 minute workout you will know that you will never again need a gym to get in to great shape and if you have any doubt try it.

Oprah’s best life week kicked off on January 5th with a riveting day one. I was so shocked and inspired to hear Oprah’s confession about her struggle with weight loss. Like millions of Americans and people around the world weight issues often haunt us. Soon as we think we have it licked it resurfaces after a bad year. It doesn’t take much for us to fall completely off the wagon. As in anything in life persistance is the only key to success. Tonight Oprah is offering a free webcast with her personal trainer Bob Greene to discuss candidly about dieting and exercise. Online viewers can ask Greene questions and learn inside tips to conquer the beast known as weight gain. It’s a great way to start the year off right. I recommend anyone who’s lost motivation or in need something extra to push you into the proper habits for the new year to tune in. This year, as I explore deeper areas of fitness and health everything I learn will be shared through this blog. I look forward to achieving ultimate weight loss and helping others find the way as well. Oprah’s webcast starts tonight at 9pm on her website. Be sure to check it out!
